The Beautiful of Taman Sari Water Castle

Taman Sari Water Castle is a real castle complex consists of several buildings ( not all of these buildings are in the water ) and its location is still in the environment Ngayogyakarta. In English, better known by the name of " Perfume Garden " or " Fragrant Garden ", because a lot of sweet-smelling flowers planted this garden environment.



Taman Sari Yogyakarta is not just the royal family recreation park at that time, but has a variety of functions including area as a Camouflage against his enemies, and is a system of fortifications, but it is also a place of meditation for the King, the place of making batik is done by the king 's concubines and daughters of the King, a military training ground for the royal army and there's more.

 Taman Sari Yogyakarta has two main gates, namely the Great Gapuro ( which is at the west) and Gapuro Stage ( which is at the East, which is currently ( in 2007 ) is used as the main entrance to the complex location of Taman Sari ).


Form of gate or its ' Gapuro' very beautiful which is the original style of Java, on the details of this Gapuro a stylized motif of the original Java like tendrils of plants, birds, tail and wings of an eagle.

Yogya Kembali Monument Museum is a museum of the history of the struggle for independence of the Republic of Indonesia in Yogyakarta, and is managed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The museum is located in the northern part of the city is visited by students in the event of an excursion

The museum consists of three floors and is equipped with a library and a ballroom. The Splendor of Fort Vredeburg

Who said the museum was boring? Yogyakarta as a city full of history turned out to have many museums which turned out to be maintained and made as attractive as possible. One of them is Fort Vredeburg museum.





The fort was renovated from the Dutch government funding over the fort which had been built by the government of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I. fort that was so simple it was built only five years after the agreement Giyanti. The fort was completed in 1787 and changed its name to Vredeburg, which means Fort of Peace. Through the Decree of the Minister of Education, Prof. RI. Dr. Fuad Hasan 0475/O/1992 number dated 23 November 1992 officially became Vredeburg Special Museum National Resistance under the name Fort Museum Yogyakarta.
At the present time, the fort is located at mile point 0 Yogyakarta city has become a hangout for young people, especially in the front. An interesting cafe is also been made using one of the castle's rooms with fine dining concept.




This Vredeburg is maintained from the beginning and to witness history battles Indonesian independence.
